Who this applies to
Imtex Membranes serves visitors in Canada and the European Economic Area. This notice is written to meet both Canada's PIPEDA and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where the GDPR applies to you, the additional legal bases and rights set out below also apply.

Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process the details you enter: name, company, email address and your message. They are used solely to respond to your enquiry. The message is sent from this website directly to our own mailbox at info@imtexmembranes.com and is not stored on the website itself. We keep this data for two years from your last contact with us.
Analytics
We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data — your usage data is not shared with third-party advertising networks. It records aggregate page views only and cannot identify you or follow you across other websites. Visitors in the EU/EEA are served from Fathom's EU-based servers; other visitors from servers in the United States. The IP address used to generate your anonymous, aggregate visit is discarded within 24 hours — no personal data is retained beyond that.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies: we process contact-form data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f)); cookie-less, aggregate analytics are operated on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Hosting
This website is delivered by a hosting provider acting on our behalf under contract. Like any web server, it records technical connection data in server logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and the browser and operating system reported by your device. These logs serve the operation and security of the site and are deleted once they are no longer needed for that purpose. They are not combined with the contact-form data and are not used to identify you. Where the GDPR applies, this rests on our legitimate interest in delivering a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f)). As Imtex Membranes is based in Canada, personal data relating to this website is processed in Canada and, depending on the hosting provider, in other countries; where the GDPR applies, such transfers are made on the basis of appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. If you are in Canada (PIPEDA), you have the right to access and correct your personal information and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Please tell us what you would like us to do, so that we can deal with your request without having to ask you for more detail than necessary. We answer within one month.
